Basically the Aptos Stitch Lift-PLUS is the same procedure as an Aptos Stitch Lift. In addition an incision is made in front of the ear, the skin is then lifted up and the excess skin is removed. Aptos threads are inserted directly into the top of the muscle layers of the face by direct vision enabling correct placement. The threads are then adjusted for the right tension and are anchored to the deep skin.

The results are immediate and very impressive with reduction of droopy jowls, gentle tightening of the skin and reduction of those deep lines from the nose to the corner of the mouth and cheek wrinkles.

When combined with a brow-lift technique, the results are close to the effect of a full face-lift. In addition, after a few days, Aquamid™ dermal filler is injected into any remaining wrinkles. This gives an even better result, with even smoother skin by further softening of the deep lines that the Aptos lift has treated. And because of Aquamid’s unique long- lasting properties, this additional effect will last seven years. Aptos procedures at ARC are half the Australian cost.

You can expect to look 7 to 10 years younger, fresher with a noticeable firmness of the facial skin, reduction in deep lines and wrinkles and an overall more youthful appearance. Other effects include a general increase in your self-confidence: you look better and you feel better. You look younger and you feel younger. You look more relaxed and you feel more relaxed.

Side-effects are minimal with some swelling and bruising that settles within 3 to 5 days. It is done using local anaesthetic which avoids any of the hazards of general anesthesia with a full surgical facelift. The procedure takes up to an hour and a half depending on what areas need to be corrected. The results will last for up to seven years, once again depending on the condition of the skin.
