Most others combine a holiday with treatments typically costing one-third to half the cost in other countries.
Here are some after-care tips to maximize your holiday time.
BOTOX
Do not exercise so as to cause sweating.
Do not have a facial massage for two weeks after your treatment.

Take it easy for first two days.
Eat ‘sloppy’ food
Sleep on your back as much as possible (not your stomach).
Avoid exercise such as swimming and jogging, and avoid sun bathing until the stitches are taken out (day 6).
Take cool showers, not hot.
Avoid excessive facial movements, such as laughing a lot.
Stitches come out on day 6. This can be done at ARC, or by your GP doctor in your home country.
Follow your ARC doctor’s advice and assiduously take prescribed medication and clean the affected area as instructed.

Avoid direct sun bathing for 24 hours after treatment.
Do not wear make-up containing AHA for 24 hours after treatment.

Don’t swim or undertake sweaty strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
Avoid direct sun bathing for 24 hours after treatment.
BLEPHAROPLASTY
(Pre-operative planning)
Ensure you are not allergic to anesthetic medicines such as Xylocain, Lidocain or Procain.
14 days prior: stop all blood thinner medicine such as aspirin or aspirin-related products.
10 days prior: stop all anti-inflammatory medicines including Ibuprofen, Naproxen, Celebrex, Advil and others.
10 days prior: Stop taking Gingo Biloba, vitamin E, and vitamin C.
On the day: arrange transportation to your as you will not be able to drive.
(Post-operative care)
Return to ARC the following day for cleaning of the affected areas and check-up.
Take it easy and stay in a cool room.
Do NOT sleep on your stomach and elevate your pillow for the first week.
First 24 hours: apply ice bags to the eyes for 20 minutes of every waking hour. Your ARC doctor will show you how and provide the materials.
At ARC we use non-absorbable stitches to promote faster healing. These stitches can be removed 5 days after surgery. This can be done at ARC, or in your country by a general practitioner doctor.
